Work with Vega data in more places
1. Connect Vega to Claude

Firms that have built workflows in Claude can now bring their Vega data into those workflows. With the Vega connector, Claude can look up clients and households, Living stories, meetings, AI notes, transcripts, meeting preparations, action items, client documents, and the Knowledge Center.
The connection is read-only: Claude can retrieve permitted information from Vega, but it cannot change records or send anything on a user's behalf. Users sign in with their own Vega accounts, and the connector respects the access they already have in Vega.
For everyday advisor tasks such as reviewing client information, drafting emails, and analyzing meetings, the Vega chat remains the purpose-built experience. The Claude connector gives firms another way to use that context in their existing workflows.
How to connect
- A firm admin enables Claude MCP connector in Firm → Settings . The connector is off by default.
- In Claude, open Settings → Connectors → Browse connectors, search for Vega, or visit the Vega listing in Claude's connector directory .
- Select Connect, sign in to Vega, and choose Allow on the consent screen.

On Claude Team and Enterprise plans, a Claude organization owner may need to enable Vega first. Available with Vega Core and Vega Pro. ChatGPT support is planned for a future release.
Create better client work from existing context
2. Generate financial planning deliverables

Planning documents often require pulling information from multiple sources, assembling charts, and checking figures across sections. With Client deliverables, advisors can ask the Vega chat to draft a planning document using the client information already available in Vega, then review and edit the result before sharing it.
Available templates cover:
- Financial plans and plan snapshots
- Tax planning reviews and Roth conversion analyses
- RMD projections and rollover options analyses
- Retirement readiness, goal funding, and cash flow projections
- Estate planning reviews and charitable giving analyses
- Meeting recaps
Deliverables can include consistent charts and tables, plus the firm's logo and disclosures. Files can be exported to PDF, Word, or Google Docs. Vega can also generate other file types, including spreadsheets and slide decks, on request.
Creating and editing deliverables and files requires Vega Pro.
3. Keep client context current with Living stories

A client's circumstances can change between reviews. Living story gives each client and household a concise written profile of their situation, goals, and recent developments, updated daily using new meeting notes, emails, CRM notes, and tasks.
- Facts include the date on which the information was learned.
- Routine messages, such as scheduling emails, are excluded.
- Household stories incorporate information recorded about individual members.
Living stories are available to firms on Vega Pro.
4. Put relevant documents into client and household files
Documents can now be attached permanently to a client or household record, making them available as part of that client's context in Vega. Advisors can also tag documents for easier organization.
For example, the Vega chat can look up an IRA beneficiary from an account statement saved to a client's file. As newer documents are added, Vega can take their relevance into account rather than treating every historical document as equally current.
5. Review meeting transcripts for compliance
Vega's compliance review capabilities now extend beyond client emails and deliverables to meeting transcripts. The review examines the full transcript, not only the AI-generated summary, to identify exchanges that may warrant further attention.
That additional context helps distinguish remarks made in passing, including jokes, from substantive advice. Reviews have trackable statuses for compliance teams, and advisors can be copied on related notifications.
Meeting compliance reviews are included with Vega Pro.
Bring more of the workflow together
6. Capture calls through CurrentClient

The new CurrentClient integration brings recorded calls into Vega as meetings. Vega matches each call to the relevant client and creates a transcript, meeting notes, and suggested follow-ups.
- Vega checks for new recordings throughout the day.
- Voicemails are excluded.
- Meeting titles reflect the subject of each conversation.
7. Export deliverables directly to Google Docs

For firms using Google Workspace, Vega deliverables can now be exported directly to an editable Google Doc in the user's own Drive. Connect Google Drive through the Google integration in Vega, then choose Google Docs when exporting a deliverable.
The exported document retains the firm's logo, charts, and tables, ready for final edits, internal collaboration, or client sharing. PDF and Word exports remain available.
8. Sync Salesforce households and create opportunities
Vega's Salesforce integration now supports more of the way advisory firms organize their clients and new business:
- Household updates: After meetings, Vega can suggest updates to household records, not only individual contacts. Notes and tasks can also be linked to households.
- Financial Services Cloud: Suggested updates reflect FSC household and person-account structures.
- Opportunities: Vega can read existing Salesforce opportunities and suggest new ones when potential business is discussed in a meeting or in chat. Suggested opportunities can include stage, amount, and close date and be created in Salesforce in one click.
More consistency across the firm
9. Standardize firm-wide meeting types
Firm admins can now define meeting types for their entire organization, such as Annual Review or Discovery. A shared list helps teams use consistent categories for meetings and reporting.
Each meeting type can set defaults for who receives notes and who gets notified after the meeting, such as an associate or operations team. These settings apply automatically, while advisors retain the ability to adjust them for their own meetings.
10. Use the latest AI models for different tasks
Vega combines models from OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google rather than relying on a single model for every workflow. Recent updates to the model mix include:
- GPT-6.1 Sol (OpenAI): Used for complex, multi-step requests and long-form client deliverables, paired with faster models where appropriate.
- Claude Opus 5.5 and Sonnet 5.5 (Anthropic): Preferred models for meeting preparation, post-meeting analysis, and writing tasks.
- Gemini 3.8 Flash (Google) and GPT-6 Luna (OpenAI): Used for faster background decisions, such as determining which emails and notes belong in a Living story.
This model-orchestration approach lets Vega choose different tools for different stages of an advisor workflow. New models are evaluated through testing, with upgrades introduced when they improve the relevant task.
What's next
These releases continue Vega's focus on helping financial advisory firms turn information from meetings, emails, documents, and CRM systems into useful work.
